九江庐山海会寺

楚雄府行。经昆明府。曲靖府达贵州省。循道东行。入湘西达衡阳。礼恒志和尚。至湖北宝通寺。礼志摩和尚。学大悲忏法毕。赴九江入庐山。礼志善和尚。于海会寺。参加念佛。法会道场。　

宣化偈曰：
庐山避暑甚清凉。远近知名游客忙。
志善住持海会寺。念佛法会净土堂。

Passing through Hai Hui Monastery on Lu Shan in Chiu Chiang

The Master walked through the prefectures of Chu Hsiung, Ku'n Ming, and Ch'u Ching to Kuei Chou Province. He then went east to Hsiang his and Heng Yang, where he bowed to the Venerable Master Hung Chih(Persevering Record). Then he went out to Pao T'ung (Jeweled Penetration) Temple in Hu Pei and bowed to the abbot Chih Mo, and remained there until the Dharma Assembly of the Great Compassion Repentance ended. Proceeding on to Lu Shan in Chiu Chiang. He paid his respects to the high Master Chih Shan(Goodwill) and at Hai Hui Monastery, he took part in a Buddha Recitation Dharma Assembly.

The verse says:
Lu Shan, away from the heat, is a cool and refreshing place.
Its fame is known both near and far, so it's always busy with visitors.
The Venerable Master, Abbot Chih Shan, of Hai Hui Monastery,
Held a Buddha Recitation Assembly in the beautiful Pure Land Hall.
